Outlaws Lacrosse (Hi Res)

Whether you are new to lacrosse or a seasoned player,

OUTLAWS Lacrosse is the place to be!

LKN Outlaws Lacrosse is a community-driven organization dedicated to educating, equipping, and empowering young athletes, parents, and volunteers to ensure every child has the opportunity to experience the lifelong benefits of lacrosse. Serving the growing Lake Norman lacrosse community, we are centrally based in Cornelius. Our mission is to elevate the level of play and provide meaningful exposure for all players who choose to be an Outlaw.

Starting with our Pre-K program, we focus on teaching sound fundamentals, sportsmanship, and proven game strategies. This foundation supports players as they progress through each age division, culminating in opportunities at the High School level. Through a progressive, systematic approach and a unified coaching staff, our teams are prepared to compete at the highest levels regionally while maintaining an emphasis on fun and development.

For players seeking advanced competition, our partnership with TRUE Lacrosse—the nation’s largest travel team organization—provides opportunities to join travel teams competing in local, regional, and national tournaments during the fall and summer seasons.

At LKN Outlaws Lacrosse, we are committed to building better players, fostering a love for the game, and creating a lasting impact in the Lake Norman community and beyond.

Code of Conduct

Lake Norman Outlaws Lacrosse seeks to instill positive character building traits in our communities’ youth through the
demonstration of good sportsmanship, respect for others, responsibility, fairness, caring and good citizenship.

We ask that parents and their guests attending events help us by reflecting these character traits at games and practices.

When attending events, we kindly ask that you:

• Be a positive role model for your child and encourage
sportsmanship by showing respect and courtesy, and by
demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, officials
and spectators at every game, practice, or other sporting event.
• Not engage in any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct with any
official, coach, player, or parent such as booing, taunting, or
using profane language or gestures, etc.
• Not encourage or engage in any behaviors or practices that
would endanger the health and well-being of the athletes,
coaches, officials, and spectators.
• Teach your child to play by the spirit of the rules and to resolve
conflicts without resorting to hostility or violence.
• Demand that your child treat other players, coaches, officials,
and spectators with respect.
• Never ridicule or yell at any participant for making a mistake or
losing a competition.
• Respect the officials and their authority during games and
never question, discuss, or confront coaches or referees on the
game field, and take time to speak with coaches at an agreed
upon time and place.
• Refrain from coaching your child or other players during games
and practices, unless you are one of the official coaches of the
team.

Any violation of the code of conduct will result in loss of playing time.
