Outlaws Lacrosse (Hi Res)

Whether you are new to lacrosse or a seasoned player,

OUTLAWS Lacrosse is the place to be!

LKN Outlaws Lacrosse is a community-based organization that educates, equips and empowers young sports leaders, volunteers, and parents so all children can enjoy the lifelong benefits of sports and the game of lacrosse.

Our program was created to fulfill the ever growing needs of the Lake Norman and surrounding lacrosse communities. We currently serve the four counties of: Mecklenburg, Catawba, Lincoln, and Iredell. We are committed to raising the level of play and exposure for all players who choose to be an Outlaw!

Beginning with our Pre-kindergarten program, we teach sound fundamentals, sportsmanship, and proven game tactics providing players with the tools necessary to succeed in each of our advancing age divisions through High School.

By taking a progressive, systematic approach employed through a unified coaching staff, our teams will be prepared to compete with the best teams in the region and more importantly have fun season after season.

Our commitment to our player’s development and success will continue to thrive through our partnership with the Nations largest travel team organization, TRUE Lacrosse. Players wishing to take their game beyond the recreation level can tryout for our travel teams, which compete in local, regional, and national tournaments in the fall and summer.

Code of Conduct

Lake Norman Outlaws Lacrosse seeks to instill positive character building traits in our communities’ youth through the
demonstration of good sportsmanship, respect for others, responsibility, fairness, caring and good citizenship.

We ask that parents and their guests attending events help us by reflecting these character traits at games and practices.

When attending events, we kindly ask that you:

• Be a positive role model for your child and encourage
sportsmanship by showing respect and courtesy, and by
demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, officials
and spectators at every game, practice, or other sporting event.
• Not engage in any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct with any
official, coach, player, or parent such as booing, taunting, or
using profane language or gestures, etc.
• Not encourage or engage in any behaviors or practices that
would endanger the health and well-being of the athletes,
coaches, officials, and spectators.
• Teach your child to play by the spirit of the rules and to resolve
conflicts without resorting to hostility or violence.
• Demand that your child treat other players, coaches, officials,
and spectators with respect.
• Never ridicule or yell at any participant for making a mistake or
losing a competition.
• Respect the officials and their authority during games and
never question, discuss, or confront coaches or referees on the
game field, and take time to speak with coaches at an agreed
upon time and place.
• Refrain from coaching your child or other players during games
and practices, unless you are one of the official coaches of the
team.

Any violation of the code of conduct will result in loss of playing time.
